David Hamilton
Top of the Pops ArchiveDavid Hamilton is a well-known British broadcaster whose career spans more than five decades. He gained fame as a disc jockey on BBC Radio 1 and 2 during the 1960s and 70s. Nicknamed 'Diddy David Hamilton,' he has also hosted numerous television programs throughout the 70s and 80s.
Hamilton regularly presented Top of the Pops between January 1976 and March 1977. He also returned and co-presented the 25 Years of Top of the Pops special in 1988.
