Stuart Henry was a radio presenter and DJ who was a prominent figure on BBC Radio 1 during the 1960s and 1970s. Born in 1942, Henry's interest in music began at a young age, and he soon became a familiar face on the local music scene.

Henry's broadcasting career began in the early 1960s when he joined Radio Scotland, where he quickly gained a reputation as a dynamic and engaging DJ. In 1967, he was invited to join the fledgling BBC Radio 1, which had recently been launched to cater to the growing youth market.

Over the next decade, Henry's career continued to flourish, and he became one of the most popular presenters on Radio 1. He hosted a range of shows, including the popular request show, Pop Inn, and he also presented a series of TV shows, including the BBC's coverage of the Glastonbury Festival. He left the BBC in 1974.

Henry regularly presented Top of the Pops from 1967 to 1969.

Stuart Henry passed away in 1995, at the age of 55.
