Live Episode
The original broadcast of this episode included a look at the US charts with Jonathan King, appearing via satellite in the US. BBC Four repeats since 2012 have edited out references to Jonathan King and the US charts section.
Mike Smith, who passed away in 2014, chose not to sign the licence extension that would allow the BBC to repeat TOTP episodes he presented. The BBC continues to honour his wishes, so this episode hasn’t been repeated on TV since 2011.
