1997 Episode Guide

The year of big change at TOTP, with another new executive producer and tweaks to the show. Pop and dance music took centre stage on the nation’s favourite music show, and it was the year a grieving nation gave Elton the biggest selling single of the 90s. Britpop was waining slightly. Girl groups were on the rise, and euro pop was cool again.
