Trivia

Live Episode
On BBC Four repeats, the closing presenter link has been edited to just “good night”. Simon Bates originally commented on Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley's wedding, the hot studio and air con breaking during the live show, and the next episode's presenters, Steve Wright and Dave Lee Travis.
During The Smiths debut performance of "This Charming Man", lead singer Morrissey was unhappy about having to lip-sync and so held a bunch of gladioli on the stage instead of a microphone.
